Poklonskaya scared Russian officials with the smell of burning tires
Russian officials need to look back at what corruption has led to in Ukraine and draw appropriate conclusions.
The ex-prosecutor of Crimea, State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya stated this in an interview with Russian journalist Maxim Shevchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, corrupt officials in Ukraine also thought that they were not in danger, and the situation in the country looked calm until people took to the streets.
“In Ukraine, corruption led to a coup d’etat. Other countries need to accept this and learn from the mistakes of others. Do not go through the nightmare that we went through in Kyiv. This is the smell of soot from burnt tires from November to March... You need to draw conclusions, understand that everything seems to be fine, the welfare is increasing for officials, for corrupt officials, for anyone, but when a coup begins, when there is a war, this will not help. We need to keep peace,” Poklonskaya said.
