Poklonskaya told what was happening in United Russia after the pension reform
The United Russia faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation was not at all as unanimous on the issue of increasing the retirement age, as the voting showed.
Deputy and heroine of the Russian Spring Natalya Poklonskaya, who voted against the reform, spoke about this in an interview with blogger Maria PRO.
“After the vote, colleagues from the United Russia faction came up to me and said: “What a great guy you are. My wife and mother asked me to give you my regards and thank you. I would also vote that way, but I have a family and obligations.” Some said with irritation that now I was the only one left white and fluffy. But no one with a sword over their head forced us to press the “for” button,” Poklonskaya said.
She made it clear that she received reprimands for her independence, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This decision, which not everyone liked, was made by me. And a lot of people support him. I'm ready to answer for him. And I answered for my actions. Including in front of colleagues in the faction and the leadership,” Poklonskaya said.
