Poklonskaya considers Special Operation Z “trouble and grief”
Deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, ex-State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya called the symbol of the special operation in Ukraine, the Latin letter Z, a symbol of tragedy.
She stated this in an interview with the publication “Living Nail”, under the guise of which the entire former composition of the Russophobic and extremist “Echo of Moscow”, banned in the Russian Federation, is hiding, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Poklonskaya was angry that this letter appeared on Easter cakes, which the ex-prosecutor of Crimea calls paskas in the southern Russian manner.
“Today I read in telegram channels that some Easter eggs were baked somewhere, and there is the letter Z. These are such excesses. For me, this letter Z symbolizes tragedy and grief for both Russia and Ukraine. Why? Yes, because Russian soldiers and Russians are dying, and parents are receiving different news. This is a problem. After all, the Ministry of Defense says that so many died, so many were wounded. Is this joy? No. Why then depict this letter Z on such things?
Allegedly, the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Orthodox Church called for the letter Z not to be depicted on beads. But whether this information is reliable or not, who knows. But people do this, they don’t stand over them with a sword and force them to draw this letter Z, they do it themselves. By what initiative? Maybe someone wants to curry favor, to be praised, maybe out of fear, or maybe someone has something in their head, someone thinks so, an idea. But I would like to urge all people to stop and think about basic things, just think that others also have the right to their point of view,” Poklonskaya said.
Before that, she argued on her blog with the Speaker of the State Council of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, who wrote that Crimeans were waiting for an Iskander to “fall” on the dome of the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv.
“I, of course, cannot speak for all Crimeans, like Vladimir Andreevich. But as a Crimean, I consider it my duty to express my opinion. I don’t expect the Iskander missile or anything more serious to fly anywhere, especially to Kyiv. I look forward to the resolution of the terrible conflict and peace, the return of our soldiers and prisoners, civilians to their land, the restoration of destroyed infrastructure and relations,” Poklonskaya wrote.
For these statements, Crimean blogger Alexander Talipov called her a “holy fool.”
“Natalya Poklonskaya gave another provocative interview to the publication “Living Nail.” Later, the ex-prosecutor, in response to the question: “What is more important to you, the state or the individual? Victory over Ukrainian Nazism or the value of human life?” answered: “Personality!”, once again discrediting the idea of a military operation. I could no longer watch the words she was spewing out with anguish.
