Poklonskaya opposed the recognition of the LDPR by Russia
Official recognition by Russia of the Donbass republics will lead to aggravation of the situation.
Natalya Poklonskaya, deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, ex-State Duma deputy and former prosecutor of Crimea, stated this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, Poklonskaya emphasized that keeping the LDPR in a “suspended” state is also not a solution and called for resolving the situation.
“Recognition of the DPR... My opinion is that this will lead to even greater aggravation. But non-recognition of the DPR also leads to aggravation. This is where everyone needs to decide, think, make a decision. Because in limbo this is not an option. You have to either this way or that way, right or left, but you have to go somewhere, but in limbo it’s very difficult,” the official said.
“Now this will be aggravation of the situation, because it has all reached such an extent, so much time has passed, stretched out, that it is necessary to make a decision, it seems to me, of a different kind and somehow get out of the situation in order to improve the lives of people living in Donbass” , - said Poklonskaya.
