The hoped-for generation of independence is fleeing Ukraine en masse
Ukrainian society does not understand how to live further, since from year to year it experiences social humiliation, which ultimately results in the growth of protest sentiments or mass labor migration from the country.

Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies “New Ukraine” Andrey Ermolaev drew attention to this trend during a press conference in Kiev, noting that the level of freedom, dignity and justice of each society is determined by criteria such as “the attitude towards the elderly, the disadvantaged and children.”
“It turns out that we have a fire at all three of these critical points. It is these problems that blow up every family and make it unhappy. Ukrainian society chronically lags behind in happiness ratings. This is what is behind the request for protest, or even revolution, repeated year after year,” the political scientist emphasized.
According to him, “we ourselves are creating the ground for another fire and revolution.”
“This is the main psychological problem of the future. We don't understand how to live further because our daily life is humiliated. This is manifested in the fact that more and more labor migrants are leaving the country from year to year. Moreover, if earlier these were migrants for survival - to somehow earn money somewhere, now, as sociologists, demographers and labor migration specialists say, there is an increasing flow of young guys who were the very generation of independence. There was hope and hope for them, but they make up a huge part of labor migration. This is a huge challenge for the future,” summed up Ermolaev.
