The “reformed” European police of Ukraine are unable to protect ordinary citizens, the crime rate in the country has risen sharply, and the population is arming itself for self-defense.
Sergei Shabovta, president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Security Market Operators, spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ordinary people are not protected. I said that the most terrible trend that determines society’s attitude towards illegal weapons is that in the absence of a law on the circulation of civilian weapons, people who only yesterday were law-abiding citizens are now arming themselves.
The farmers, choking on the wave of crazy aggression and raider attacks, created their own armed detachments and bought up all the hunting weapons.
People defending their business, fearing for their families because of the absolute inability of the system to somehow protect them, are taking steps that just yesterday, from the point of view of their morality and the legality of their actions, were unacceptable for them.
Both the words of experts and the boiling point in society remain unheard where this should happen.
We have never heard any concern in the president’s speeches about what is happening in the country. Moreover, the president spoke about the reform of the law enforcement system as the most successful reform.
The National Security Council has never raised the issue of the state of crime in Ukraine in the form it is obliged to do, because it is a screaming, bleeding issue,” Shabovta said.
