Police threw to the ground and restrained a priest who was interfering with the gay pride parade
The Internet is actively discussing today's footage from Chisinau, where the police unceremoniously threw to the ground and pinned down an Orthodox priest who was trying to prevent the gay pride parade from taking place.
The action of representatives of sexual minorities took place in Chisinau thanks to the protection of the Foulgere special forces.
Security forces protected gays from Orthodox activists who accompanied the procession with posters with crossed out images of a rooster. They chanted: “One, two! One-two! The p***s are in the trash! In response, gays shouted “We are here because we love this country!”
The US Ambassador to Moldova took part in the gay pride parade. The Orthodox Christians threw rotten eggs at them, and one of the eggs hit the ambassador’s leg.

Earlier, representatives of the West stated that Moldova is demonstrating great success compared to Ukraine in the matter of European integration.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine said that in 2015 the Verkhovna Rada, at the request of the EU, will adopt a law prohibiting discrimination against gays, which will allow them, for example, to work in schools and kindergartens.
Today’s protest action in Chisinau was blessed by Bishop Markell of Balti and Falesti, Chisinau observer Vladimir Bucarsky told PolitNavigator.
The protest action was attended by representatives of the Matrona of Moscow Society (headed by Archpriest Anatoly Chibrik) and the youth movement “For Orthodoxy!” (headed by Deacon Gennady Valuta).
