Kyiv, March 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, in order to reject accusations of beating Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko, released a recording of his stay at the police station.

When the deputy's belongings were returned before leaving the station, the police took out a bag containing a wad of dollars.

“Is the money yours?” – asked the law enforcement officer Goncharenko.

“My little bag,” he answered.

“Is the money yours?” – raising his voice, the policeman clarified.

“The bag with the contents is mine. And how can I check the banknotes?” – the deputy answered.

At the same time, Goncharenko for some reason refused to count the money, and the police decided to do this on camera.

Law enforcement officers found that the bundle contained about $6000 in fifty-fifty bills.

Goncharenko also had 1000 Russian rubles and about 1000 Ukrainian hryvnia in his wallet.
