The police announced the closure of traffic on the Kyiv-Odessa road from 14:30 on Thursday, January 18, due to heavy snow drifts, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

One of the key routes was closed to both trucks and cars.
Ruslan Forostyak, adviser to the head of the Odessa police, said this in a message.
According to the Odessa police, drifts on this road range from 40 cm to a meter.
The lifting of restrictions will be announced additionally.
Complications also arose on the Odessa-Kyiv highway: in the Uman region, trucks blocked traffic.
