Police captured 24 participants of Coronamaidan: Avakov saw “some ears”

Police detained 24 rioters in the Poltava region who opposed the local sanatorium accepting for quarantine Ukrainian citizens evacuated from China after the coronavirus outbreak.
The head of the national police, Igor Klimenko, said that in addition to throwing stones at buses, they would also be punished for erecting “unauthorized barricades.”
Now the village of New Sanzhary is heavily patrolled by the police.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on the 1+1 TV channel that the protests could have been instigated by political opponents of the authorities.
“We have seen some ears, political and business sense,” Avakov said, promising “not to ignore” the version of incitement to unrest.
