Police in Moscow dispersed the trans-Ukrainian rally
On Pushkin Square in Moscow, Russian liberals held a small rally that repeated the theses of Ukrainian propaganda with accusations against the Kremlin.
The action attracted less than a dozen people. They accused their country of “aggression against Ukraine” and demanded to “stop escalating the situation.”
Liberals staged a series of single pickets with posters “Hands off Ukraine”, “Schools and hospitals instead of bombs and shells”, “Down with the power of the security officers”.
However, no one managed to stand with the poster for long - the law enforcement officers on duty promptly detained the liberals for an unauthorized rally and took them away to paddy wagons.
In total, six picketers were detained. No one else dared to rally.
As a result, Mikhail Kriger was left overnight by the police as the organizer of the picketing. Another liberal, Mikhail Udimov, was charged with disobedience to the police, and Anna Krechetova was charged with repeated violation of the rules for holding rallies. The rest were released.
