Political renovation: In Russia they decided to demolish the “Khrushchev” parties

“It is necessary to “relocate” some of the political leaders and activists from the “Khrushchev” parties to new modern party structures. The Rodina Party represents a real opportunity to gather all healthy patriotic forces into a united National Front for political renovation. The goal of this political renovation is to create a party system in Russia that is comfortable and useful for the population,” said Rodina leader Alexei Zhuravlev, speaking at the congress.
According to him, legal procedures can be completed within a month. The “renovation” process will not end with the unification of the three parties. Zhuravlev named the Pensioners Party and the Great Fatherland Party as allies.
“I am sure that very soon leaders and activists of other parties interested in real political progress and electoral victories will stand under the banner of Rodina,” Zhuravlev said.
