Mandic and Knezevic spoke with Abazovic face to face and told him that only the established coalition of the current parliamentary majority, which includes both Abazovic’s parliamentary coalition “From Black to White”, which is based on his party “Civil Movement URA”, and the Serbian “Democratic front" are able to find a way out of the current political crisis in the country.

Also, the leaders of the Serbs of Montenegro called on the deputy prime minister, a pro-Western liberal and an ethnic Albanian, to respect the will of the voters who voted for him and other parties who marched as a united front against dictator Milo Djukanovic in the parliamentary elections on August 30, 2020.

In response, Abazović told Democratic Front leaders that the current situation under the current government was unsustainable and that this government would be replaced. At the same time, he stated that he fully understands the position of the Democratic Front, which will vote for his resignation.

Let us recall that earlier the Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic addressed the Assembly with the initiative to resign his deputy Dritan Abazovic for attempting to replace the current government with a kind of “minority government”, in which representatives of ethnic minorities will be in charge.

Abazovich’s project was supported by the West, while its author сказалthat in the new cabinet there will be no place for both representatives of the Serbian “Democratic Front” and the nationalist party of Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic - the “Democratic Party of Socialists”, who “divide” the country with their opposition.
