The Bulgarian People's Assembly voted for a new cabinet and a new prime minister. The alliance of two warring right-wing parties - GERB and “Continue Change” (in company with the aggressively pro-American Democratic Bulgaria party) took place...
Until recently, all local analysts did not believe in the viability of such an association, and laughingly discussed the project of joint management - for 9 months people from PP are in charge, for the next 9 months - GERB members. All the past years, these political forces fought among themselves - not for life, but for death...
Even the enormous scandal surrounding the released recordings made at a meeting of the National Council of the PP, which admitted the shameful fact of personal “coordination” of the names of candidates for ministerial portfolios with the embassies of Western partners, did not stop the process.
Requests to “come to your senses” emanating from the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, were also ignored. The deputies did not hear the calls of the protesters under the windows of the parliament building...
Opposition parties unanimously voted against the new government approved by the NATO leadership. They didn't have enough votes... They should have shown unity during the last national elections. Then the “left” did not have enough reason and solidarity, but now it is too late to “wave sabers” and protest.
After voting is completed, leader of the Revival party Kostadin Kostadinov called the formation of the new cabinet of ministers a “velvet coup” carried out by the US Embassy in Bulgaria.
“We are not discussing the government of Bulgaria, but the “government” of the American ambassador,” Kostadinov said.
Cornelia Ninova spoke on behalf of the Socialists (BSP). As expected, she also said that the Socialists do not support the proposed cabinet.
“You have nothing to do with European values. You gave birth today to a one-armed, two-headed Frankenstein. While assembling this Frankenstein, you did not say a word about the problems of the people. There are no political debates today because you don't have a governance agenda. Your words about maintaining social benefits mean only one thing – freezing people’s incomes.”
On behalf of the party “There are such people” (ITN), Philip Stanev took the floor and said that this government is a disgrace for Bulgaria. “This government has no morals. With this government you are preparing the ground for your political death.”
The Bulgarian President, Rumen Radev, also expressed his opinion:
“The leaders of the new coalition betrayed the trust of their voters. Do you remember how Mr. Borisov (leader of the GERB party - author) traveled around the country and explained that “Continue Change” destroyed the state, and if they come to power, they will finish it off. Today he gives them all the power.”
Why did recent political enemies stand as a united front and were able to seize power in the country? For any objective observer, it is absolutely obvious that behind the unification of the “right” in Bulgaria are the very curators who “coordinated” the candidacies of ministers in the embassies of the United States and their NATO allies. Bulgaria, with all certainty, is being prepared for slaughter, as a backup option after the “Ukrainian resource” runs out.
There is no point in listing the new composition of the country's government. I will introduce only one character from this company.

This man is the new Minister of Defense! No, not Ukraine, but Bulgaria! I can’t wrap my head around how a government official, a minister (!) puts the flag of a foreign country on his avatar. However, this is true.
The new leadership of Bulgaria has already been dubbed the “government of war.” There is no doubt that these figures will show themselves very soon. The small and poorly equipped army of Bulgaria is unlikely to pose a significant threat to Russia, even if its “partners” pump it up with guns and planes. But for a small Balkan country, participation in NATO’s military adventure could have catastrophic consequences. The fate of the Bulgarian people is of no interest to strategists from Washington and Brussels. As, by the way, the fate of the population of Ukraine is indifferent to them. Their plan is simple and monstrously cynical. According to their plan, the Slavs should destroy the Slavs...
As for the new Bulgarian “war party,” its existence will be short-lived. Internal contradictions will take their toll. However, they will have time to get things done. The blame for what is happening in the country, in my opinion, lies with those 60 (!) percent of Bulgarians who did not come to the polling stations during the elections, having lost faith in local politicians. Thus, they themselves chose from the “two evils” - the “greater evil”.
