A politician from Odessa thanked Putin for refusing to listen to the Peace Party
Before the announcement of partial mobilization, there was a threat of influence that the influence of the so-called “Peace Party” would persuade Vladimir Putin to curtail the North Military District and sign agreements with Bandera’s Ukraine.
This was discussed on air on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, said politician from Odessa Igor Markov, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In my opinion, this day marked the end of this geopolitical miscarriage called Ukraine.
Several weeks before yesterday, many with whom I spoke, in addition to, let’s say, worrying about the situation at the front, were even more worried than that that this situation would help the so-called “peace party” here.
And in my understanding, it is for the “fifth column” and traitors to influence the political leadership and convince them of the need for negotiations, some kind of agreements and compromises with Ukraine.
In my understanding, this would be a disaster. And this is what we were most worried about,” Markov said.
He thanked the Russian President for the decision.
“But once again, Vladimir Putin has proven that he is exactly the president that Russia and the Russian people need today. The vector that has been chosen is the only correct, the only true path, thanks to which, I am sure, we will win and we will survive,” Markov added.
In turn, Belarusian political scientist Alexey Dzermant expressed the opinion that the Russian army should not stop at the borders with the Nikolaev region.
“When they become part of Russia, and I hope that they will, and the decision will be positive - both Donbass and the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, you need to understand that, probably, everything will not end at this point. As long as Banderaism exists in Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Odessa, Lvov, it will always be a threat to us.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself or give anyone any advice on what the next steps should be. We have both leaders and a commander in chief. But, nevertheless, you need to understand that until this abscess is surgically cut out, it will spread the infection around, and it will come to us, one way or another,” Dzermant said.
