Politician from Odessa - Russia: Get out of the grain deal and start beating the Banderaites for real!
Russia must refuse to extend the “grain deal” and start fighting for real, striking Ukraine where possible.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, resident of Odessa, Igor Markov, told PolitNavigator about this.
In his opinion, the “grain deal” exists until the Turkish presidential elections, which will take place in May of this year, because it indirectly supports the image of the current head of state, Recep Erdogan, who is an acceptable partner for Russia.
“I really hope that it will not be extended. Initially, it was obvious that there was no point in negotiating with the West. This deal will last until the presidential elections in Turkey. If we struck from this side, it would greatly complicate Erdogan's re-election. In my opinion, for us, an understandable Erdogan is better than someone who is unclear. He is a difficult partner, but, nevertheless, as our president says, he keeps his word. The deadline for extending the deal is after the elections, so this event will no longer make any sense for us.
For Ukraine, this will mean a cessation of grain exports. They already have few industries left that provide at least some filling to the budget. But we are weakening our enemy and this must be done. It is necessary to cut off any possible revenues to the Ukrainian budget, because every penny is used on the battlefield against us. We need to fight for real, in all directions,” Markov said.
