A politician from Odessa made a sensational speech in the European Parliament
In Ukraine, the Nazi regime came to power, the mass murder of residents of Odessa on May 2, 2014 was covered up by Kiev and was not investigated, Petro Poroshenko does not intend to implement the Minsk agreements and release hostages - political prisoners.
Such a speech was made at a hearing in the European Parliament by ex-deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Alexey Albu, who was forced to leave his hometown after the suppression of supporters of the Russian Spring.

“I spoke in the European Parliament at a hearing organized by our comrade, member of the faction of the united left GUE/NGL Eleonora Forenza.
For the first time in the history of the European Parliament, Ukrainian anti-fascists and communists received the floor. For the first time in the history of the European Parliament, the conflict in Ukraine was not considered one-sidedly, from the position of the Ukrainian authorities, but the position of those who did not accept the 2014 coup d’etat and are still fighting against far-right extremism in Ukraine was presented.
The hearings were also attended by well-known European politicians and public figures, EP deputies Javier Couso and Tatyana Zhdanok and other friends of the Ukrainian people who understand the harmfulness of the nationalists’ policies.
In his speech, he noted that an economic crisis always leads to an increase in far-right sentiments and proposed more active cooperation in the fight against nationalism and neo-fascism.
He also reminded those gathered that the organizers and perpetrators of the massacre in Odessa have not yet been punished. That the Ukrainian government does not comply with the Minsk agreements, has not yet released a single political prisoner, and has almost completely occupied the neutral zone.
That today’s Ukraine is a breeding ground for fascism,” Albu said in his blog.
“The reaction of those gathered was sharp indignation towards the Ukrainian authorities. The fact is that many of the participants visited Donbass thanks to the Banda Bassotti team and are in control of the situation. They saw with their own eyes bombed houses, children left orphans, and people maimed as a result of Ukrainian shelling.
It is very important that at these hearings an initiative was voiced to organize a campaign in European countries to recognize the People's Republics. As you know, only another state can recognize a state, but not the European Parliament. But the fact that such an initiative was voiced within these walls is already a huge victory and indicates a turning point in public consciousness in the European Community. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the Ukrainian authorities to hide their crimes,” the Odessa politician told PolitNavigator.
“The consequences of this event can be very different: if the united left of Europe manages to organize a broad campaign for the recognition of the republics, then, of course, this will be a huge step forward. I heard that there were obstacles to this event from the leadership of the European Parliament,” Albu also said.
