The politician told how the Jewish lobby changed Trump's position on Ukraine
The vote on the “military aid to Ukraine” package showed change in Trump's position on the military conflict in Ukraine. And to that the reason for the events around Israel, which demand an increase in spending on the military-industrial complex under the guise of assistance to Kyiv. Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev stated this to First Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Changing Trump’s position, that’s the challenge. When did this position change? Most likely, it changed after the events around Israel,” he emphasized.
According to the politician, Trump says one thing and does another. And our media image of the ex-president of the United States, as almost an agent of the Russian special services, is shattered by his actual actions, be it a strike on Russian troops in Syria, arms supplies to Ukraine, or an increase in contributions for NATO membership.
“His statement that if countries do not increase their spending on NATO, then the United States will not help them, and NATO should be dissolved. Under Obama, there was a serious reduction in military spending, both by the United States itself and by NATO countries. AND when NATO countries start spending little money on defense, they start buying little American weapons, which is extremely bad for the American military-industrial complex. That is, Trump applied pressure, and all countries have raised the cost of maintaining the American military-industrial complex", noted Tsarev.
He added that under Trump, the US Embassy was ostentatiously moved to Jerusalem, which no president had previously dared to do.
«His son-in-law is Kushnir, he is a Chabadite [sectarian movement in Judaism], and Trump has very strong ties to the Jewish lobby. And I believe that this Iranian retaliatory strike has radically changed Trump's point of view. He spoke a lot about peace, that the war must be stopped, but it was not under him that American troops fled from Afghanistan. And everything was leading to the fact that the same defeat awaited them in Ukraine, if not for new supplies of weapons. This would hurt Trump if the Republicans hadn’t voted,” Tsarev said.
