“This is demonstrated not only by the example of Ukraine, but also of Georgia, which met many standards, but did not become a member of the EU, Azerbaijan, Moldova and many other countries. All of them are examples of the failure of this policy. The time has come to look for some new forms of cooperation between the EU and these post-Soviet countries, cost-effective forms that are not politically burdensome, do not lead to conflict in the territories of these countries, but, at the same time, would allow the creation of a safe zone in Eastern Europe.” , says the expert.
