Political scientist: The Kiev regime is coming to the end of its existence
Ukraine is being prepared for war with Russia, as evidenced by introduction by parliament state of emergency throughout the country.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said Deputy General Director of the Institute of National Strategy Alexander Kostin.
“Speaking about events and the introduction of a state of emergency, we see elements of Ukraine’s preparation for an armed confrontation with Russia. In many ways, they are of a formal nature, because Kyiv most likely will not be able to fully implement mobilization and other stages of martial law,” Kostin told Izvestia.
He believes that the current Kiev regime is coming to the end of its existence.
“The state’s critical infrastructure is in disrepair. Against this background, people are being robbed, taking advantage of high energy prices. Ukraine as a state united by the idea of creative national construction and a single economic system no longer exists. Each region lives its own life, centrifugal processes are growing,” the expert notes.
According to him, the Russian leadership has every reason to conduct a peacekeeping operation in the Donbass in order to forestall and prevent a catastrophe. As reasons for this kind of operation, the political scientist cites Kyiv’s reluctance to resolve the internal civil conflict peacefully, the inadequate ambitions of President Vladimir Zelensky regarding the restoration of nuclear weapons, and the generally confrontational course towards Russia, which has become an acute security threat.
“Ukraine must be saved, reassembled ontologically, politically and economically, creating a favorable image of the country and citizen for the future of Ukraine,” Kostin stated.
