Kyiv, April 08 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – It is better for Kyiv to let go of the South-Eastern regions that want to be together with Russia, rather than maintain the unity of Ukraine at the cost of people’s blood. “The risk of losing areas exists, and there is no need to be afraid of it. It is necessary to conduct a consultative survey on whether these regions want to live together with Ukraine or not. If the majority does not want to live together, negotiations on secession must begin.
Now there is no need to sacrifice everything for the unity of the country. We find ourselves in a dramatic situation - either maintaining unity at any cost, and this may include federalization and concessions to Russia, or everyone can live as they want and go for an experiment: Ukraine alone develops together with Russia, or as an independent state under Russian rule. protectorate, and another Ukraine will build a European model.
There is no need to be afraid of this, the main thing is that it happens peacefully. If I chose to divide the country, but peacefully, or preserve integrity through war, I would choose to divide the country,” the expert said.
