Ukrainians are modern barbarians who came from villages to cities and take advantage of what they got from neighboring countries, which previously included Ukrainian lands.

Political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

An expert who supported the Euromaidan and the punitive operation in the Donbass called the Ukrainians “a thoroughly rotten people.”

“We are rotten through and through, our great Ukrainian people are rotten through and through and they must be reborn in this crisis situation, when we can no longer be the crap that we have become thanks to our leaders and this “elite” that we are talking about.

When we begin to tell the truth about ourselves and admit our mistakes, and stop having illusions about our terrible condition, then we will move forward. In the meantime, we lull ourselves into thinking that we are the best, that our “Mriya” flies, something else goes around - it’s all not ours, we got it all.

You know, how the barbarians entered Rome in 410... they entered these buildings, but it all lost its meaning, it was not their achievement. They got material things, but they didn’t get culture. It’s exactly the same as every time I come to Lviv, and these magnificent Western Ukrainian cities of ours, and they tell us: “God, what a beautiful Lviv, what a pearl of ours, Ukrainian, our Ukrainian Piedmont.”

I look at this all the time and understand that in fact our Ukrainian Piedmont is Ternopil, that’s all, it’s not ours. We settled there like barbarians, came from our villages, lit a fire and sat there. This whole infrastructure is rotting, and we can’t even really use it all. You come to neighboring Krakow, 250-300 kilometers away, and you see how it really works, when there is life there, when people know how to manage,” Romanenko said.
