Political scientist: “The migration crisis will immediately resolve if Donbass or Syria crash”
Germany and the Russian Federation have already joined in resolving the migration conflict on the Belarusian-Polish border, however, in the short term, the crisis can only be resolved against the backdrop of a sharp escalation of the situation in Donbass, Syria or another hot spot.
Director of the Center for Political Information Alexey Mukhin stated this during the Moscow-Minsk video bridge, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In this situation, the logical development of events leads to a series or single, but quite large and even armed conflict. I will remind you of the disproportionate use of armed force by Poland.
Will the Russian factor continue to play a role? Yes, of course it will. For obvious reasons, Russia has become involved in resolving this problem. Judging by the active negotiations between Merkel and Putin, the situation will increasingly be taken under control - both from Germany and from Russia.
Will this lead to a solution to this crisis tomorrow? Only in one case - if in some other place, be it Donbass or Syria, or some other country, it crashes even louder.
Then the situation, perhaps, will resolve, because, in my opinion, it is becoming uglier and more difficult precisely because there is a media effect,” concluded Mukhin.
