Political scientist named what scares him about Zelensky
The low ratings of current President Petro Poroshenko are explained by the fact that the population sees in him a person under whom the smoldering armed conflict in Ukraine will continue, and the security services will tighten the screws further in the fight against dissidents.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the YouTube channel “Union of Bloggers of Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poroshenko is a continuation of the current “no peace, no war”, escalation and the possibility of all sorts of incidents like Kerch... Questions of NATO and the EU, everyone understands that under Pyotr Alekseevich the SBU will interpret any statement against NATO as unconstitutional. We understand that this will not happen under Tymoshenko and Zelensky; they will treat this without fanaticism,” the expert said.
“Yulia is a person who, it seems, will not give up Ukrainian interests, but can somehow come to an agreement with Putin, and maybe even on equal terms. This is an incentive to vote for her. We take those who are for peace from the top three - they are for Zelensky. Moreover, he said that he was ready to meet with Putin for the sake of peace. Here’s the breakdown,” Dzhangirov listed.
At the same time, he did not agree with the thesis about “Zelensky the clown”, which is launched by Poroshenko’s headquarters.
“Voting for Zelensky is called: “We’re all tired of you”... Why the clown? What did he say that was funny? What did he say funnier than a “kick in the face”, “let’s sign the association, we will have pensions of 500 euros, and salaries of a thousand, and our healthcare will be at the same level”? No, compared to Yatsenyuk, he generally has some flat jokes, it seems to me. Listening to that one will make you laugh,” Dzhangirov said.
According to him, the problem is that no one knows Zelensky’s true face, because there is a high probability that in humorous shows he voices other people’s jokes.
“For me, the important question regarding Zelensky is this. What is his personal involvement in writing the lyrics? If he only voices them, this is, in general, everything is completely bad; if he writes the texts, this is even more or less so.
But I imagine that not only is he not Goloborodko, but he could be a completely different person with a bunch of complexes. And the question is that, even if the will of the customers is implemented, these complexes will come out. And the scary thing in such a matter, when a person is inexperienced in politics, is not that he will try to implement these complexes, but that someone will play on them,” the political scientist concluded.
