Political scientist on NewsOne: Half-truths are worse than lies
The NewsOne TV channel, owned by MP Yevgeniy Muraev from Kharkov, where they sometimes tell the truth, does more harm than the completely false nationalist Ukrainian media.
Kiev political scientist Alexander Semenchenko stated this during a conference on his Youtube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If we talk about NewsOne and such half-truth channels, half-truth is worse than a lie. We all know that Channel 5 is deceitful, constantly lies, and we treat it that way. And we know NewsOne tells the truth from time to time.
On NewsOne, for every more or less adequate person, there are five people who are not friendly at all, or work for a salary. And we are also forced to listen to them, and sometimes we also perceive their thoughts as truthful. Half-truths do more harm than lies,” the expert said.
