The European Union has nowhere to go, and the decision on a visa-free regime for Ukraine will be positive.

This was stated by political scientist Viktor Taran, close to Petro Poroshenko’s administration.
“Now we calmly await the Ukraine-EU summit on November 21-24. We understand that the process has started and it is irreversible. Visa-free is very close. We are taking places in line for biometric passports,” he said in an interview with Gordon.
According to him, at the EU summit in November two fundamental issues will remain to be resolved.
“The ambassadors officially announced that they are starting the negotiation procedure and they are fundamentally in favor of visa-free travel for Ukraine. After that, they submit documents to the European Parliament, which votes and brings the issue to the summit. And here their decision, which they will make on November 24, will be very important. Two questions remain: what will the implementation mechanism be and when will it start? From January 1, or from June 1, 2017, relatively speaking. And how it will work. Now the EU has nowhere to go. The decision will be positive in any case. Countries that hesitated no longer have any trump cards. Russian propagandists also have no trump cards,” assures Taran.
