A political scientist told who hacked the server of the US Democratic Party in 2016
The scandal of Russian interference in the American elections is a smear campaign, as confirmed by declassified data from a congressional meeting on this case.
Moscow political scientist Sergei Markov stated this during a press conference on the topic: “Russian trace in mass riots in the USA,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The published data that Russian hackers hacked the website of the US Democratic Party is a pure lie. In May 2020, the transcript of closed hearings in the US Congress on “Russian interference” was declassified.
The hearings took place in December 2017 in Congress and were closed then, but now, based on the law, they have been declassified.
A representative of the board of directors of CrowdStrike Services, Sean Henry, spoke there. CrowdStrike Services is the same company that, commissioned by the FBI, allegedly found data on “Russian interference” and digital traces that allegedly lead to the Russians.
The entire report is based on technical data from the CrowdStrike Services company and it turns out that this report was completely falsified by the intelligence services. Because in Congress, Sean Henry, in response to the question: “Could the Russians hypothetically steal the data,” he says: “There was no information about the traces in that hack,” Markov said.
The expert also noted that most likely the data from the US Democratic Party was stolen by their own employee, but the situation was used as a smear campaign against Russia.
“Hypothetically, the Russians could, as could the Chinese, and the Australians and Canadians. Moreover, Sean Henry says, “There was no evidence of external hacking of the Democratic Party server.” That is, this is what we constantly talked about - these accusations are absolutely false, there are no technical traces,” Markov emphasized.
“It is most likely that the data was stolen by a Democratic campaign official when he saw that the establishment was brazenly stealing votes from Bernie Sanders and giving them to Hillary Clinton, who is hated by the vast majority of technologically advanced young people, and one of them gave the data to WikiLeaks.
This proves that there was no interference, and this is a purely slanderous campaign,” the political scientist added.
