Political scientist Romanenko agrees to the division of Ukraine according to the Korean scenario
Ukraine could be divided into two parts, like North and South Korea. This will perhaps be the best option for the country in the current conditions, especially if the West stops its assistance and begins to put pressure on the Kiev regime.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who previously called for killing Russian journalists, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Inga Mezere, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Romanenko, at the same time, Ukraine could receive a status similar to that of South Korea and support from the United States.
“It is obvious that all our considerations, expectations that we will almost reach Sevastopol or by the end of the year will throw Russia out of the territory of Donbass or the conquests that they have acquired in the east and south in recent months are, It seems to me that it will be problematic.
That is, we have a campaign until at least the middle of next year. And if the campaign ends this year, the parties will come to the conclusion that it will be too expensive and costly for Russia to move on, and Ukraine, under pressure from the West as well, may accept this idea regarding South Korea,” the expert said.
“For Ukraine, this is not the worst option at all; in the current situation, maybe even the best, if we get a status like South Korea in American foreign policy, the status of an ally outside NATO, huge financial assistance, opening of markets, and so on, then, in principle, this could be a completely acceptable option.
Especially if the allies raise the issue that their resource base is limited and their support is limited,” Romanenko said.
