Political scientist Tymoshenko suspects Sadovyi of bargaining with Poroshenko
Statements by Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadovoy about his readiness to run as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine are a gamble or bargaining between the head of Samopomich and the presidential administration.
This opinion was expressed on his social network page by Kiev political scientist Viktor Nebogzhenko, who is close to Yulia Tymoshenko’s headquarters, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In 2015, it was still easy to predict the “pre-garbage” measure of Lvov Sadovoy as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine. Then he was a real fresh face and a promising politician, and now the nomination of the leader of the tired and faded Samopomich party, Sadovoy, as a presidential candidate is not yet an intrigue of the presidential elections, but already an adventure or bargaining with Poroshenko. After all, Sadova does not know how to take revenge on the presidential administration for the provocative “garbage scandal” and is afraid, but he will be able to come to an agreement with Poroshenko, on conditions that are attractive to both, on neutralizing the political opponents of the current president in Lvov during the elections. But then, after the 2019 presidential elections, Sadovaya and Samopomich will lose both the measure of Lvov and their political future,” Nebozhenko believes.
