Political scientist: Poroshenko is stupid enough to attack next
The Ukrainian leadership, to please the United States, may attack the Donbass republics following the American missile attack on Syria.
Russian political scientist Alexey Martynov told PolitNavigator about this.
“Poroshenko is stupid enough to start jumping up after his masters in Washington and Europe.
But I want to draw your attention to the fact that today’s attack by the Americans and their allies on Syria is very reminiscent of a similar event that took place a year ago, with an attack on a Syrian airfield, where no one was killed, no particular damage was done, but missiles were flying, American television showed Trump giving orders and so on. This is all obviously of some kind of ostentatious nature.
Frankly speaking, thank God, we predicted this, but the fact that they failed to provoke us into retaliatory strikes is good. They tried not to touch or offend a single Russian military personnel, or a single object that was in the area of responsibility of the Russian military.
As for Ukraine, I fully accept their provocations, but I am also sure that today’s event by Comrade Trump in the coastal waters near Syria will not go unnoticed,” Martynov said.
