Political scientist: Ukraine is preparing a new army in Poland and the Baltic states
Ukraine is creating an alternative army in the western regions, also in Poland and the Baltic states, training soldiers to work with Western weapons in order to transfer it to the front.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Karasev, the main task for the Ukrainian authorities now is to hold the line while this “new” army is being prepared.
“Zelensky’s task, obviously, is what? To hold the line now. Yes, quite a difficult task, but doable. In order to create a new army in Western Ukraine, Poland, and Latvia now, to train new artillerymen there who will work on guns of a new standard, the NATO standard. Or, based on NATO standards, rocket artillery, multiple launch rockets, new equipment.
And then you can not only hold this line of contact, a possible line of contact if the war goes according to the freezing scenario, conditionally, Minsk-3, or even think about a counter-offensive,” Karasev said.
