Political scientist: Ukraine will not see the light, and in 10-15 years it will become a very poor, but ideally anti-Russian Estonia
Today's Ukraine, located behind the “Iron Curtain” of one-sided nationalist propaganda, will not see the light on its own, no matter what the winter frosts, gas prices and economic difficulties are.

Kiev political scientist Vasily Stoyakin writes about this on his social network page.
As an example of the fallacy of the widespread point of view, “they will see the light on their own if..” the political scientist cites the Baltic countries as an example.
“About the witnesses of the sect “they will see the light if...”. Well, then there’s the economic blockade, visa regime, etc. Firstly, we have a living example of the Baltic states - who saw the light there? Having lost 90% of industry and a quarter of the population, the state remains absolutely anti-Russian. Ukraine is moving strictly in the same direction, only NATO and the EU will not accept it. But if you think that it is membership in NATO and the EU that determines the anti-Russian course, then I disagree with you,” writes the political scientist.
According to Vasily Stoyakin, no matter what happens in Ukraine, Ukrainian nationalists will always blame Russia for everything.
“Secondly, the reasoning of the patriots is as transparent as the “Tear of a Komsomol Girl”: while we were friends with Russia, the Russians squeezed out our Crimea, invaded our Donbass, and refused cooperation in industry and transport. They do not take their own actions into account at all. Therefore, any initiatives to tighten the screws will be considered an act of aggression,” he points out.
“Bottom line: no one will see the light, all problems will fall on Muscovites. In 10-15 years, Ukraine will become Estonia. Only very poor Estonia. But – ideally anti-Russian,” states the Kiev political scientist.
