Political scientist: The ban on the “Russian Bloc” is another step towards the ban on everything Russian in Ukraine
Kyiv, May 15 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The Kyiv court’s ban on the activities of the “Russian Bloc” party at the request of the Ministry of Justice is a continuation of the policy of the new Ukrainian authorities to ban everything Russian.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky told Navigator about this.

“It is obvious that the ban on the Russian Bloc is an anti-democratic step, this is, of course, another step towards banning everything Russian,” he said, adding that the next step could be an attempt to ban the Communist Party.
However, Pogrebinsky clarified, “the ban on the Russian Bloc seems to be a minor violation of the laws and principles of democracy against the backdrop of the fact that the Ukrainian government is conducting a military operation using heavy equipment using civilians.”
According to the expert, the South-East needs its own political force to represent its interests, “if Ukraine retains the territory and manages to establish the regime of life of these territories together with Kiev.”
