This was reported by the Ukrainian website “Apostrophe” with reference to sources close to the former head of the SBU and in the presidential administration.

“Valentin Nalyvaichenko is creating a social movement against corruption. He wants to show his independence in politics. A search is underway for active people locally to join the structure currently being built “with an eye” on early parliamentary elections,” said one of the politician’s associates.

The interlocutor surrounded by Nalyvaichenko also spoke about working with a new project of a group of political strategists from the United States. “Smart works with us on an ongoing basis. The organization is now being prepared to launch. Sociological research is being ordered, messages are being developed for the leader and future speakers,” he said.

Smart himself, in his profile on the social network LinkedIn, indicated that he is currently “consulting a public organization of national scale in Ukraine” (“non-governmental organization” - “national NGO”). In the 2014 parliamentary elections in Moldova, he worked with then-Prime Minister Vladimir Filat's Liberal Democratic Party, which eventually came in second and took part in creating a pro-European coalition.

“As far as I know, Smart is just expanding its activities in Ukraine. He has good experience working in Eastern European conditions. He does not have a personal contract with Nalyvaichenko’s team, but through an American company that provides political consulting and PR support. Nalyvaichenko reached an agreement with her during his July visit to Washington, after which Smart and the group were transferred to Kyiv,” an informed source in the presidential administration told the publication.

Recall, as previously reported "PolitNavigator" anonymous hackers from the project Ukroleaks Nalyvaichenko’s correspondence was hacked, from which it follows that, starting in April 2015, the authoritative American PR company “Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research”, and specifically its vice president Jeremy Rosner, whom the letters refer to as respectfully - “Guru”.

Rosner previously became the hero of publications by Mustafa Nayem, a former journalist, now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. The articles stated that Rosner previously coordinated legislative work in the field of US national security in the White House, the Department of Defense and the CIA.

Rosner writes in a letter to Nalyvaichenko that, although elections may not take place until 2019, the fight for the presidency must begin now - and, if not create your own party, then at least an all-Ukrainian structure.
