The Novoukrop authorities continue to gut Kolomoisky’s assets. This time, the Ukrainian economic court decided to nationalize the Dniproavia airline, owned by the oligarch, as announced by Prosecutor General Lutsenko. 94,5% of the shares must be transferred to the state account.

In September 2015, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine began a criminal investigation into the privatization of the Dnepropetrovsk airport (we will continue to call the city by its usual name, and leave the name Dnepr to the river). The case involves embezzlement of state property on an especially large scale by representatives of the State Property Fund. At the end of August 2009, this department sold 94,6% of the shares of the Dniproavia airline to the Galtera company for 59 million hryvnia (at the current exchange rate - almost $2,2 million) with a starting price of 58,5 million hryvnia. Thus, the airline fell into the shaggy hands of the Privat financial and industrial group, co-owned by Kolomoisky.

In addition to the flying industry, the Dniproavia company manages the Dnepropetrovsk international airport. According to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Dm. Omelyan, manages poorly. According to the minister, all airports in Ukraine are showing growth, while in Dnepropetrovsk there is a strict monopoly, due to which passenger traffic in 2016 decreased by 18%.

This is what official data says. It would seem - good luck! The people of Ukraine are returning property that was taken away for a symbolic sum by a bunch of corrupt officials and transferred into the hands of the oligarchic group “Privat”. It seems that Kolomoisky is “no longer a cake,” shamefully hiding in Switzerland and counting his losses, sadly watching how his financial and industrial empire in Ukraine collapses.

In fact, as experience shows, you cannot take anything back from Kolomoisky, and even make money from it. Let us remember how the state of Ukraine received a thoroughly gutted Privatbank, from which the profit was less than from a goat’s milk, and which the state had to recapitalize by throwing in billions of hryvnia.

Actually, this is the business style of Kolomoisky, and other Ukrainian oligarchs: to squeeze dry the expensive assets they got for pennies and dump the worthless scraps on the state balance sheet. You look wretched, which is not good for me.

A good example is the recent story of Kolomoisky’s loss of interest in his favorite toy, the Dnepr football team, by refusing to finance it and turning it into grazing. FC Dnepr has large salary arrears to Spanish coaches and players, and there are also outstanding contributions to UEFA, which threatens to downgrade the team. And why? Due to the widespread impoverishment of the population, Ukrainian football is in decline. If Ukrainians used to go to football matches with their families, today they cannot afford a football ticket. So Benya lost interest in something that no longer brings profit.

As for the Dniproavia airline and the Dnepropetrovsk airport, then, as transport analysts report, the airline itself has not been of interest to Kolomoisky for a long time. All the gusto and tsimes is the airfield: the runway with the accompanying facilities, as well as control over the airport. Moreover, Kolomoisky is still the owner of the profitable airlines Ukraine International Airlines and Wind Rose.

In addition, interesting details emerge. Yes, the return of the airline and the airport to state ownership is legal. But in the past, there have already been scandals in which it turned out that structures associated with Kolomoisky had so cleverly credited the airport that in the event of subsequent nationalization and reprivatization, the state could be sued for hundreds of millions of money that were allegedly invested by the cunning oligarch.

Thus, it may turn out that the deceived state, which has returned to itself the property unjustly privatized by the dodgers from Privat, may also turn out to be a large debtor. Again, you don’t have to look far for an example: there is a very clear and instructive case with the bankruptcy of the Aerosvit company and billions of dollars in debts that came out of nowhere, far exceeding the company’s assets, because of which litigation has been dragging on for many years.

The reaction of the Kolomoisky bandit and raider Boris Filatov, who was left by Benya to look after Dnepropetrovsk during the owner’s absence, is very indicative. Mayor Filatov, on the eve of the verdict of the economic court, drove off to Manchester, supposedly to adopt the experience of European technologies for waste disposal in a bioreactor and waste processing plant.

A fan of reporting every sneeze on social networks, Filatov devotes a lot of space to garbage and his affairs as the virtuous mayor of Dnepropetrovsk, but the hand-held columnist avoids the topic of nationalization of Dniproavia with eloquent silence. I remember when Kolomoisky’s assets were arrested and confiscated in Crimea, Filatov spewed out tanks of black hatred day and night and threatened with a “Bandera attentate.”

It turns out that this time, too, the Kolomoytsy returned to Ukraine a stuffed cow, milked to the last drop, with legal claims under their belts and while maintaining full control over the Dnepropetrovsk international airport?
