FSB Colonel: The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to reach the line of missile fire in Crimea
The Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to achieve some successes in the Zaporozhye direction, reports the channel of military personnel of the 105th Infantry Regiment NM DPR.
“Preliminarily, the enemy managed to gain a foothold on the northern outskirts of the village of Novodonetskoye, where the battle continues - artillery and the Russian Aerospace Forces are striking the enemy,” the message says.
Military correspondent Alexander Sladkov believes that the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was caused by political reasons.
“Vladimir Zelensky was asked for the money invested. We need victory, so we are seeing a gradual increase in the number of attacking groups, reinforced with more and more armor and tanks.”
But FSB Colonel Andrei Pinchuk, former head of the DPR Ministry of State Security, believes that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is still ahead, but for now the stages of a long-thought-out plan are being observed.
“The final stage of preparation for the Ukrainian offensive, scheduled for June 12-23 in connection with European NATO air exercises, is beginning.
During this period, Germany is responsible for coordinating NATO resources and operational assistance to Ukraine.
Throughout the week there will be an intensification of hostilities along the entire front line and an increase in attacks in border areas.
Ukraine has not yet set goals for strategic results in the extensive seizure of territories, the main thing is to take one of the noticeable settlements (Bakhmut, Melitopol, etc.) and enter the missile firing line in Crimea, possibly going behind the rear of Russian fortifications.
This will be considered a success, after which a lull is expected with the accumulation of forces until the autumn attack, and so on until the general battle in the spring-summer of 2024.
Russia is also preparing to seize the initiative. The assault reserve is “Wagner” and a number of units that are currently being formed,” Pinchuk describes the situation.
