Kyiv, July 24 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Aviation Colonel Yuliy Mamchur, who gained fame last winter during the confrontation around the Belbek airfield in Crimea, called on the Ukrainian authorities to continue the war in Donbass “until the last terrorist.”

Mamchur said this on the Shuster Live talk show.

“We need to wage war until the last terrorist, not to give them a springboard for expanding the war throughout the country,” the colonel said, speaking in Ukrainian.

At the same time, Mamchur expressed confidence that Ukrainian Su-25s are being shot down in the Donbass not by militias, but by Russian military personnel from the territory of the Russian Federation.

“This was probably used by specialists from Russia with good skills. An airplane that flies at such an altitude is not enough for MANPADS,” the colonel explained.
