The colonel, without choosing words, explained the evacuation from Kherson
The civilian population in a combat zone not only constrains the maneuvers of the troops located there due to the likelihood of civilian casualties, but also provides excellent conditions for enemy reconnaissance.
The participants of the broadcast on the Politwera channel spoke about this, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I don’t understand why we are talking about the evacuation of Kherson? Only Kherson, what’s the reason?” – asked channel moderator Vera Bytko.
“Because, in any case, serious military operations are planned there. But ours will not give up this bridgehead on the right bank. And, considering what the current Ukrainian army is like, it’s better to play it safe and take the people out. A completely normal position – a humanitarian human one. Because they will make fun of everyone,” answered Andrei Martyanov, a military-political analyst living in the United States.
He was supplemented by Colonel of the Central Office of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in reserve Vladimir Trukhan.
“There will obviously be fighting there. What intensity, in what form? This is a secondary question. There will be fighting, and possibly civilian casualties. Which, even despite the fact that “sleepers” have risen there, are already recognized by citizens of the Russian Federation,” the colonel said.
“Any civilian population in the defense area, in the offensive zone, according to our tradition, acts in a constraining manner. It fetters the armed forces, and we cannot use what is needed, we cannot use it as it should, we cannot organize defense correctly, the civilian population will wander back and forth.
Some will wander around just like that, while others will wander around and give up positions.
It is a normal thing to clear the direction in which active hostilities are expected to be conducted from the civilian population. It didn’t even stop there,” Trukhan explained, not really choosing his expression.
