SBU Colonel: Russia emerges victorious from the Nord Stream 2 story
Record gas prices have already allowed Russia to “recoup” the costs of building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Moscow is absolutely not worried about the delay in its launch.
An expert in the field of defense and security, Colonel of the SBU Oleg Starikov, announced this broadcast on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia and investors already don’t care whether Nord Stream 2 will be introduced or not, they already got all their money back – 18 billion dollars. Every month there is a delay – they don’t care anymore. Russia invests the money that comes from Nord Stream 2 into the development of the military-industrial complex. It turned out that Biden says: “We will kill Russia,” and he himself made it possible for LNG to stand still, all the gas to go to China, and Russia to occupy the European market.
As a result, they allowed the Germans, in order for their economy to develop, to conclude a memorandum on Nord Stream 2 so that they would not leave NATO,” Starikov said.
In his opinion, instead of the European future and prosperity promised at Euromaidan, Ukraine receives the status of a “gray zone” from Western patrons.
“To my great regret, Ukraine is being used to make us a “gray zone.” I want to remind you that the “gray zone” in modern wars is the territory where combat operations will take place,” Starikov concluded.
Thank you!
