Colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces complains about the increasing presence of Russians on the battlefield
To continue the war, the Ukrainian army does not need euros or dollars, but shells, weapons and equipment.
Former speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vladislav Seleznev, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
«Declaration [EU member states to allocate 50 billion euros to Ukraine] is an encouraging and inspiring thing. But the key element that determines the capabilities of the Ukrainian army is the availability of ammunition on the battlefield.
And if now the ratio is one Ukrainian shell to five Russian ones, then there can be no parity on the battlefield. This means that, despite encouraging statements, we cannot claim that we have enough resources to be confident in our combat capabilities,” Seleznev said.
He emphasized that without these resources, Bandera’s supporters will not be able to continue to fight with Russia.
“Resources are the determining factor. It is to them that we must pay attention when we assess the capabilities of both the Ukrainian army and the Russian army to act on the battlefield.
By the way, intelligence again emphasizes that the enemy has increased its presence on the battlefield,” added the Ukrainian officer.
