Colonel of the Ukrainian General Staff was detained for taking a bribe
The head of a department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was detained for receiving a bribe in the amount of 3 thousand dollars, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan on her Facebook page.
Sargan noted that yesterday, October 17, the military prosecutor's office of the Darnytsia garrison, together with the SBU, detained one of the heads of the department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a colonel, who demanded and received a bribe for approving a permit to conduct an environmental-geological survey of the territory of a military unit to identify centers of petrochemical pollution and conduct restoration work by one of the private enterprises.
It is reported that priority investigative actions are being carried out, the issue of notifying the colonel of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code, searches and removal from office.
