Polonsky swears that no one seized Kyivstar in Crimea
Simferopol, August 12 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The reason for the shutdown of Ukrainian mobile operators in Crimea is unprecedented pressure from the Kyiv authorities.

Crimean Information Minister Dmitry Polonsky announced this at a press conference.
According to him, despite the statements of the press service of the Crimean branch of Kyivstar that yesterday the company’s office in Simferopol was seized by armed people, they do not correspond to reality.
“I learned that some armed people entered the Kyivstar office from messages on social networks from the press secretary of this company. There were no appeals or statements from the management of the Crimean representative office of the company to the leadership of the republic or law enforcement agencies. At the moment, Ukrainian mobile operators that continue to operate in Crimea are under pressure from the Kyiv authorities. The disconnection of Crimean subscribers of these companies is another evidence of the Kyiv authorities’ intention to put Crimeans in their place through the hands of private business,” noted Dmitry Polonsky.
Let us remind you that the day before, Crimean subscribers of the Kyivstar company were disconnected from the operator’s network.
