Polonsky promises that Life will not share the fate of Kyivstar and MTS-Ukraine
Simferopol, August 13 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The Crimean authorities are interested in having as many mobile operators as possible, both Russian and Ukrainian, operating on the peninsula.

The Minister of Information of the Republic of Crimea, Dmitry Polonsky, told reporters in Simferopol.
According to him, the situation with the termination of Kyivstar and the transition of MTS-Ukraine to technical roaming did not depend on the government of the republic.
“Once again I will say that Life’s exit or non-exit from Crimea is solely on the conscience of the property or owners of this operator. For our part, we will not take any action to ensure that this operator leaves Crimea,” Polonsky said.
Let us recall that in early August, MTS-Ukraine stopped servicing its subscribers in Crimea, and later switched to technical roaming, which was provided to it by the newly created Crimean mobile operator K-Telecom. A few days later, the Kyivstar company also turned off its network. Thus, Life remains the only Ukrainian operator that continues its work on the peninsula as before.
As the press secretary of the Crimean branch of the Kyivstar company Daria Plotnikova reported, the connection of this operator will not be restored in the near future: “Kyivstar did not transfer Crimean subscribers to other mobile communication networks. This is technically impossible, since all mobile communication services in Crimea are currently suspended.”
