Half of the “golden eagles” who dispersed the “onizhed children” on the Maidan still work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs under Avakov
Not a single one of the perpetrators of the beating of the “one-children” on the night of November 30, 2013 on the Maidan has been identified, and half of the “Berkut” officers who dispersed the riots still work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The head of the special investigations department of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, Sergei Gorbatyuk, said this in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.
“290 Berkut officers came directly to the square.” These are 200 from the Kyiv “Berkut” and 30 each from three other regions: Sumy, Cherkassy and Lugansk. The latter were in the back rows and were coming to the end. The main illegal activities were carried out by representatives of the Kyiv “Berkut”. Everyone's faces have been identified. The only thing is that none of the perpetrators of the beating have been identified,” he noted.
According to Gorbatyuk, about 50% of ex-Berkut members continue to work in law enforcement agencies.
“It is very difficult for victims to identify those who beat them. They were wearing masks, helmets, in the dark. Even on video. We had several videos that we tried to identify using portrait examination, but the examination did not produce results,” he said.
Gorbatyuk added that the ex-Berkut members themselves refuse to testify against their colleagues:
“The testimony of those who took part in the beating becomes important. Let him beat you, you are a criminal, you don’t want to testify against yourself. But there were dozens of those nearby who would have to testify to these illegal actions. However, unfortunately, there is no evidence that “I witnessed that my colleague unlawfully used special equipment.”
He noted that those security forces who took part in the dispersal of militants who tried to storm the presidential administration on December 1, 2013 also partially remain in their positions:
“Those who are held accountable do not work. And the subordinates who were directly beaten, but not identified, for the most part continue to work,” he laments.
