Half of Ukrainians are below the poverty line

The number of poor people in Ukraine continues to grow rapidly.
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Elena Kondratyuk stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, as quoted by Ukrinform.
“According to many international organizations, the poverty level in Ukraine has increased to 50%, with about 19 million Ukrainians below the poverty line. Therefore, the Verkhovna Rada must set the government the task of urgently approving a strategy and a set of measures to combat poverty in Ukraine until 2030,” said the vice speaker.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine reached African indicators.
