The situation of Mozgovoy’s brigade, which refuses to submit to the LPR, is getting worse
The situation of Alexey Mozgovoy’s “Prizrak” brigade, based in Alchevsk, continues to deteriorate, striving to maintain independence in relations with the leadership of the LPR.
A PolitNavigator correspondent who visited Alchevsk on Easter was convinced of this.

At this time, a procession with the participation of Metropolitan Mitrofan of Lugansk and Alchevsk was passing by Mozgovoy’s headquarters, but neither the brigade commander nor his subordinates took part in the campaign (with the exception of the only representative of the brigade’s political department).
In a brief conversation with a correspondent, Mozgova made it clear that he does not plan to receive the Battle Banner from the hands of Igor Plotnitsky.
The commander is aware of the deplorable state of the brigade's logistics and is making every possible effort to improve the situation in the material support of his subordinates.
The “Ghost” fighters are in a difficult situation, because there is an example of the Cossacks, who recently agreed to complete submission to Lugansk.
After the presentation of the Battle Banner of the 6th Cavalry Regiment named after Matvey Platov to the regiment commander Pavel Platov from the hands of the leader of the LPR Igor Plotnitsky in the Stakhanov House of Culture, the Cossacks were first given a salary of $350 per month, plus $200 to those on the front line.
The “Ghost” militias don’t even dream of that kind of money.
They have to purchase uniforms and shoes at their own expense, food on the front line is very meager, the militias receive practically no salaries and fight solely on ideological grounds.
Due to poor nutrition, people leave the brigade en masse; up to 50 people can leave units in a day.
The correspondent was shown weapons from the Great Patriotic War - an RPG anti-tank rifle, SKS carbines and a revolver pistol manufactured in 1945.
“Ghost” fighters on the front line in the village of Donetsk, Kirov region, live in bombed houses along with local residents. In private conversations, soldiers say that for $500 “they could ransom five of their comrades from captivity from dill.”
It turns out that when a militiaman is captured, even before he is handed over to the SBU, there is the possibility of ransoming him at a rate of $100 per person.
