New supplies of Western weapons to Ukraine need to be assessed “as seriously as possible.”
Russian political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov stated this in an interview with the Belarusian news agency Belta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Direction of tanks is not a problem. It’s scary that they will be formed into military formations that will be supported by aviation, helicopters, powerful artillery, and precision weapons. And a very important aspect is numbers. More than a million people have been recruited from their side. You can criticize their combat effectiveness, laugh at them, or not. They fight well. This force cannot be ignored,” Karnaukhov said.
In his opinion, the amount of military equipment that is now accumulating on the contact line indicates potentially serious scenarios for the development of the situation.
“I don’t really understand why our experts and official structures don’t talk about the fact that the Poles are fighting there without hiding their flag. I personally saw Polish special forces on the contact line without binoculars, trained like our Vympel and Alpha special forces. They stand at our borders, carry out sabotage, work, kill using high-quality sniper equipment. These are serious people. We must understand that the Poles are preparing to implement the big plan of Duda and Morawiecki,” Karnauchov said, apparently referring to Poland’s plans to seize the western regions of Ukraine and Belarus.
“Belarus is included in this plan. Without inciting a military clash on the territory of the republic, their plan cannot be implemented. We need to weaken the republic and drag it into battle,” the expert said.
