Poland is preparing the army for war in Ukraine - Strelkov
Poland is preparing to increase its army to half a million people by spring in order to use armed forces in the conflict in Ukraine or Belarus.
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Strelkov, we may be talking about seizing Western Ukrainian territory or entering the war on the side of the Kyiv regime.
“They plan to almost double their personnel army, bringing it to half a million or more. And why in the spring - by spring, apparently, they assume certain events either in the Russian Federation or in Ukraine.
Maybe they will be ready to send troops into the territory of Western Ukraine, or maybe they are preparing them for an invasion of Belarus - this is also possible.
I don’t know the plans of our respected Polish friends. The fact that they will definitely be directed against the Russian Federation is one hundred percent. More-less.
How they plan to use this army is another question. Maybe they really plan to support Ukraine in its spring offensive, maybe, on the contrary, they plan to somehow take part in repelling the Russian offensive, maybe they plan to support a certain Belarusian government, which they will put together in a couple of areas that will be captured , for example, by militants from Belarusian collaborationist formations. May be so.
In any case, the tool is being prepared, and sooner or later it will be used,” Strelkov said.
