Poland will “pump up” Ukraine – Bandera will not be a hero

Just as Macedonia abandoned its version of national history under pressure from Greece, Ukraine will have to abandon its version of the Ukrainian-Polish conflict during World War II.

Pavel Rudyakov, director of the Perspektiva information and political center, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We will have to compromise. The Poles want to impose their point of view and do not hide it. In this regard, it would be nice to recall the case of Macedonia, the signing of an agreement between Macedonia and Greece.

When the Macedonians left Yugoslavia, they began to actively create a new picture of their history. In it, in their name “Macedonia” they used Alexander the Great, took his symbols as state symbols, etc. It is clear that this was a strong stretch. The Macedonian Slavs did not have the right to tie the events of Greek history to themselves.

How did it all end? At first, Europe turned a blind eye to this. And now we have signed an agreement, one clause of which directly states the obligation to renounce our view of history.

It seems to me that in the end, for political reasons, we will still have to come to the point where we will have to adjust our interpretation to the point of view of the Poles,” said the Ukrainian expert.
