Poland unexpectedly resumed the evacuation of Poles from Donbass
Warsaw - Kyiv, January 12 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) - The evacuation of ethnic Poles from Donbass was stopped a month ago. Polish journalists and some politicians actively criticized the government for stopping the evacuation, while opinions were expressed at the highest levels that it could not be resumed in the near future. However, the portal writes Kresy.pl, on Saturday, January 10, the removal of families of ethnic Poles living in the Donbass began.

“The evacuation began on Saturday. 160 people were evacuated to a hotel in Kharkov. They will be in Poland in the coming days,” the portal reports.
The Poles were accommodated in decent rooms. Visas and other documents are being prepared for the passage of ethnic Poles to Poland. This was stated by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Wojciechowski.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not want to reveal when the next stage of evacuation will take place, but this, Polish journalists suggest, should be done in the coming days.
All Polish immigrants must be accepted on board a Polish aircraft. In Poland itself, they will be housed in several centers where they will be provided with health care, language courses and vocational training. Children will receive education in Polish schools.
